An unforgettable vacation in the hunting seat of king Pedro of Portugal.
The Manor-House is
located in Serra d'El Rei, 70 km north of Lisbon between the cities Obidos and Peniche.
The castle was built in 1350 from D. Pedro I. It was exclusively used for hunting and the
raising of peacocks and falcons.
His son D. Fernando hunted there accompanied by up to ninety mounted Falcon hunters.
Later the Paco was extended from D. Joao I. who stayed here with his wife D. Felipa de Lencastre.
Also the window in the tower which offers a good view comes from that time (XVI. Century.)
